In the past, the primary method for sending Health Services any sensitive documentation related to your health was to mail, fax, or bring it to the clinic in person. In early 2020, a Google secure drive was established by the Lab’s cybersecurity team to address the growing business need for an electronic option as the COVID pandemic had resulted in a marked increase in telework arrangements. As of December 20, 2021, the Google secure link that was previously being used has been replaced by a Sharefile Secure link.
There are currently three options available for our employees to share secure information:
- Faxing to 510–486-7192
- Mailing any documentation that has sensitive information to health services at 1 Cyclotron Road, Berkeley, CA MS 26RO143
- Uploading secure documents electronically to the Health Services staff at https://sites.google.com/lbl.gov/healthservicesupload
In April 2022, the Lab’s electronic Occupational Health Record system will be able to directly accept sensitive health information.
