EHS-IDEA Mission Statement
With the Berkeley Lab Stewardship Principles of respect and trust as guiding principles, EHS fosters a healthy Division and Laboratory culture by promoting the values of inclusion, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The EHS-IDEA Committee, through the activities of its various Working Groups, helps create a welcoming and inclusive Division environment where early career and veteran employees alike flourish personally and professionally.
IDEA Committee
The central EHS-IDEA Committee is composed of two co-chairs; one facilitator; the IDEA Community of Practice liaisons; and the Working Group co-chairs, who address specific issues and plan activities. Working Groups each have two co-chairs who facilitate their group and participate in the central IDEA Committee.
All EHS employees/affiliates are invited to join the Working Groups to increase the number of voices represented. The IDEA framework is flexible, allowing task forces to sunset or be created to address new priorities.
