• Environmental Services

  The Environmental Services Group provides a comprehensive range of cost-effective environmental management services to Berkeley Lab by working with research and support staff.

• Health Services

  Health Services offers a series of clinical programs and services that are available to the benefit of Berkeley Lab employees as well as in support of Berkeley Lab research projects. These include medical evaluations, care of work-related and nonwork-related illnesses and injuries, wellness services, and worker assistance and accommodation.

• Radiation Protection

  Radiation Protection Group provides radiation safety-related technical assistance to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in compliance.

• Research & Operations Support

  The Operations & Performance Support Group provides strategic leadership and operational management to enable the EHS Division to effectively support Berkeley Lab's scientific mission. The group oversees Division operations, business systems and technology, financial and procurement management, training and communications, performance metrics, assurance and regulatory reporting. The Research & Operations Support Group is committed to keeping workers, their families and the community healthy and safe.

• Waste Management

  Waste Management provides assistance and ensures that Berkeley Lab is in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Waste Management also operates the Hazardous Waste Handling Facility.
