All Class 3B and 4 lasers in active use must be registered with the LSO and entered in the Laser Management System (LMS), which is also called the Laser Inventory. This includes lasers brought on site by visitors or on loan from a different institution or manufacturer. It is the responsibility of the activity lead or laser user to notify the LSO of any new lasers coming to or leaving Berkeley Lab.
