As staff safety is of utmost concern, the EHS Division has an internal policy limiting travel between off-site and on-site LBNL locations on official Lab business to four-wheeled motor vehicles only (not including GEM Electric Vehicles).
Use of personal two-wheeled vehicles, such as scooters, motorcycles, and bicycles, is not permitted at any time during the course and scope of official LBNL business. This includes traveling on-site or on public roads to and from off-site locations.
