Health Services is available to assist LBNL business travelers with health-specific travel advice, medical information, limited medical supplies, and limited immunizations/vaccinations for common travel hazards. Travel advice is based on destination, travel route, and length of stay. Services are no cost to LBNL employees.
If possible, we’d kindly request employees to schedule their consultation 2-3 months prior to the trip if vaccines are needed or 2-3 weeks prior to the trip if a medical exam or form completion is required for travel. This timing allows for vaccines to have optimal protective effects and/or bloodwork results to be received from offsite laboratories. Health Services looks forward to serving your travel needs.
