THIS PILOT PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE TO EMERYSTATION EAST (ESE) STAFF ONLY – DO NOT REQUISITION WASTE USING THIS PAGE IF YOU ARE NOT ESE STAFF.

LBNL’s Waste Management Group is launching a new system for requisitioning waste. The Waste Management System (WMS) will replace the current system, and EmeryStation East (ESE) staff will have the opportunity to pilot the system before its full Lab-wide roll out.
Use this page to access the new system and training resources such as the WMS User Guide, training videos, and FAQs. Please contact LBNL Waste Management or Rosanne Boudreau (RBoudreau@LBL.gov) with any questions.
System Access
Use one of the two following interface options to enter waste requisition information:
- This interface is an “all in one” data entry process. Once completed, the requisition is submitted
- Labels can be printed
- It can also be used to make draft labels for accumulating containers
- It captures all the information needed in one place and has additional features for efficiency for regular users
- This interface provides a step-by-step process to create a draft requisition
- The user-friendly webform interface aids in data entry
- After you input your waste using this form, you will still need to certify your waste and print labels using the main WMS system
- See WMS Use After Creating Requisitions using the Webform
WMS Training Sessions
There will be three options for hybrid training sessions with Rosanne Boudreau and WMG staff in the ESE 4th floor seminar room (R4134) and via Zoom. The sessions are listed on the ESE Events Calendar and are also listed below:
