Daylight Savings Time has ended, which means it’s time to fall back again! Although we gained an hour of sleep, it now gets dark earlier and we have to consider nighttime safety, especially when navigating the roads and pathways at the Lab. More of the afternoon commute will be in the dusk or dark. According to safety experts, this makes it harder for drivers to see due to compromised depth perception, color recognition, and peripheral vision. It is also harder to see wildlife that may be foraging in the late afternoon.
