
Overview:
You maybe eligible to take up to five days of Reproductive Loss Leave if you experience a reproductive loss yourself, if your current spouse or domestic partner does, or if someone else does and you would have been the parent of the child.

| Leave can be taken all at once for a set period of time. | Taking 5 days after a miscarriage. |
“Reproductive loss” includes:
- Miscarriage
- Stillbirth
- Failed adoption
- Failed surrogacy
- Unsuccessful assisted reproduction
Eligibility:
- Must be an eligible employee under the Reproductive Loss Leave policy (have worked for the lab or UC at least 30 calendar days prior to start of leave)
- Leave must be taken within 3 months of the reproductive loss event
- Leave is unpaid but supplemented by accrued leave (sick/vac)
What You Get:
- Up to 5 days of leave per reproductive loss event
- Up to 20 days total per year (if multiple qualifying events occur)
- Confidential and protected leave
